Most “About Me” pages are where you list credentials. I could tell you about my Photography degree from Ohio University, my years working as a photojournalist, and the awards along the way.

But that’s not really why I’m here, and probably not why you are either.

I’m Caitie, a photographer originally from Ohio. I’ve been living along the Northern Colorado Front Range since 2015, but I will soon be based in Baumholder, Germany, starting a new chapter overseas.

Photography has always been about more than just capturing a moment for me. It is about the feeling of being there. The quiet, the scale, the kind of places that make you slow down and pay attention. A lot of my work is rooted in landscape and wildlife, shaped by early mornings, long hikes, and a deep love for the outdoors.

On most weekends, you can find me on a trail, chasing light in the mountains, or planning my next trip somewhere new. Lately, that also means preparing to explore an entirely different landscape across Europe.

When I am not out shooting, I am usually editing photos, camping, or figuring out how to get deeper into the mountains with a lighter pack and a better view.
